    Marshall Headphones Major

I did a short comparison of the Marsall Major yesterday in HMV with my Zune 120, in a direct comparison with my ATH-ES7s.   Disclosure: I could be said to have an AT bias as I have an AD700 at home, the AD500 at work, the ES7, and the NC7. For sport I use the Sennheiser OMX70. No complaints...

Review of Sony EX90L VS Bose Triport IE

Yeah, all the knee-jerk Bose-bashing almost makes me want to go buy their IEMs to see how good/bad they can be. Anyway, glad to hear that you think they're good.

X-530 speakers, DDTS-100 decoder, Xbox 360 on optical, PC on coax?

Yes, it will. I have the same decoder and used it to output the digital signal from my PS2. It's a neat piece of kit, and compact too.

ATH PRO5 V: Good, or no good?

I have seen pairs of these floating around and may pick one up for the hell of it. Let you know what I think if I do, compared to my ES7 and my AD500.

    Gaming headphones

Both should be fine for gaming purposes. I use the AD500 and am very happy with it, as it has superb positioning.

Need help deciding between 2005-2006 Beyer DT880, Beyer DT990 and ATH-AD900

Finally, a product that makes my mp3s and cds sound better than being in the studio

I agree that the X-Fi is a good card - I have it and use it mainly for gaming. People who criticise Creative for their "creative" marketing should also have a real go at Steve Jobs for the absolute BS that he trots out ALL THE TIME about almost EVERY PRODUCT they've ever launched. I'd like...

So he mistitled the piece. So what? You guys act like it's the end of the world. I seriously wonder sometimes if some of you have nothing better to do than go around flaming people who disagree with your taste (perhaps due to never having been exposed to "good" or to be more neutral, "less...

***, some of you people need to read the article CAREFULLY before starting to foam at the mouth: Quote: Here is a list I have compiled of headphones that I have used over the past two years. I have owned at one point or another all of these headphones at one time. That should have...

    AT can comparison question

I have AD500s and an ES7. If you are going to buy one pair for home use only I would recommend the AD500/700 as the soundstage is MUCH better. The ES7s are good, but open-air destroys closed, and the inherent limitations of a portable headphone (ES7) mean that the AD series prevails...

    Is it possible ? XF-i + 7.1 speakers & headset ?

Wouldn't using a headset as a mic and speakers for sound playback cause massive feedback problems, or at best, totally cancel out anything you were saying?
