Considering buying this, would it sound good with a pair of HD-800's? The only amp I have for them at the moment is a Dragonfly v1.2, so I definitely need to upgrade. Thanks.

I was thinking of doing something but am unsure if it would mess something up, I heard the Jot sounds bright with the HD-800's, so I wanted to add a tube buffer but still have the integrated balanced DAC. I was thinking of using the DAC, using the Pre-outs into the buffer, and from the buffer...

Has anyone tried the Audeze Leather Pads? If I'm getting these I will also be getting the Audeze pads, if they don't sound good i'll just save up for either an HD-800 or LCD-2.

What genres do these shine with? With Stock Pads and with FocusPads. Also, do these work well with poorly mastered music?

Would these headphones (w/ different pads and grill mod) be good for Hip-Hop / IDM (ex. Bones, Xavier Wulf, Aphex Twin)? My Grado's are great for Jazz and Rock but have no sub-bass.

I've been trying look for a new pair of headphones from my Grado SR-125e's with the quarter mod, and I think this is the one, but I have a few questions, how do the details, the soundstage, and bass compare to the SR-125e's? And will the Audeze pads fit this? Thanks
