      Yeah, someone else told me already, thanks!   I guess I'm just used to think of a church like a serene, austere place. In fact it makes sense for traditional church buildings as well, since the extreme acoustic reverb can make performing more difficult without in-ears.

    Hi raymartin. I tried with: Mojo, mbp15 (2015), iPad air 2, iPhone 6 plus, Sony z5 compact. All resulted in sub-par, veiled mids.

    Thanks! If you like a bit of bass and looking for something in this range, I'd much prefer the Fidelio S2 which has tighter bass, much better mids and responds well to EQ.

      That would be Blue Hawaii SE, http://www.head-fi.org/t/439657/headamp-blue-hawaii-special-edition and Stax SR-009. Arguably the best (and possibly most expensive) sound out of a headphone south of the new $50k Sennheiser Orpheus.

    How do you guys reckon the dp-x1 compares value-wise to ak100ii for $460 over at massdrop? That's a pretty competitive price.   The drop ended now, was limited to 75 units that flew off the shelves, but there's already a lot of requests for another go.
