Show us your vintage headphones!
Had a pair of 7a's, worth keeping, id say you should recable on the cups since the cable that comes with them (to me) can be a bit side heavy. You can just put porta-pro YAXI pads on them, but they would fit better if you 3d printed some simple rings to put on the cups (44mm).- Yoshirou

"AudioTechnica open can drivers have very lean bass." have you ever used a pair ATH AD700's (non x), Most bassy headphone iv'e ever used, even compared to my 70s Dynaphase 60s cans that weigh close to 5 lbs. The Headphone Driver Pics Thread
Some how I was able to get them from audio-technica (parts@atus.com), I asked to buy the AD2000 driver ($45 each) and from a different email I asked about the ADX5000 driver ($114 each), the shiny backing is just an adhesive metal plate thats engraved (serial number and the "made in japan")- Yoshirou

The Beyerdynamic DT48 Arrives...
For the most part, yes, sadly as there are a good few pair out there for a “good” price compared to Dt48’s. They are pretty cool looking though, and I have dabbled with the idea of driver swaps. The main issue is the fact that they are very old and made of plastic that looks to have become...- Yoshirou

The Beyerdynamic DT48 Arrives...
I'm not saying you’re wrong since i don't own them, but if you look at the other pictures of the inside on the cup (the perforations that go to the driver and the design of the back/how the headphone mounts to the headband) you can see that they are the exact same design as Grason Stadler...- Yoshirou
