Reply to review by 'Yog' on item 'Sennheiser IE 900'
So far I am truly enjoying my IE 900, and now I am afraid that I will be using my IE 800 S and IE 800 rarely in the future. For me both silicon and foam adapters work perfectly fine. I use small size and both snuggly fit into my year. I primarily use silicon and swap it with memory foam. Memory...- Yog

Meet the Sennheiser HD 820
Sorry, no, haven't heard STAX 007 MK2. To be honest, HD 800 was my only over the ear phones I have been enjoying since the day they came out. Never FELT the NEED to get anything else until today. Though I have many IEMs but HD 820 was my 2nd full-size headphone in almost 10 years. The first...- Yog

Meet the Sennheiser HD 820
Just got mine. Simply blown away. It is definitely a lot better than my HD 800 in every aspect. I am driving it through HDVD 800, SPL Phonitor and Pioneer SC09, but now I am tempting to get HDV 820 to match it up with HD 820.- Yog

Sennheiser HDVD800 Headphone Amplifier
I can not say for others but as far as I am concerned, HDVD 800 and HD 800 really is the best combo to my ears. Not to mention, IE 800 can also show you it full potential with HDVD 800. BTW, I do not think that this is the best looking amp I have ever seen. The design and look is simple...- Yog

Sennheiser HDVD800 Headphone Amplifier
Quote: As mentioned in my earlier post, Woo Audio WA5-LE and SPL Phonitor were currently my active amps with RME ADI-2 and Benchmark DAC1, besides other amps that are already sitting in my closet. BTW I did not know that my IE 800 would even sound that good until I tried them last night...- Yog

Sennheiser HDVD800 Headphone Amplifier
Balanced sounds much much better to me. HDVD 800 puts all my other amps to dust. Wow. HD800 and HDVD 800 is definitely a marriage made in heaven. I tried them on my digital as well as analog sources. Significantly improved soundstage, pure and natural. I turned up the volume to almost 95% and...- Yog

Sennheiser launches iPad app "Blue Stage" - delivering inspiring stories relating to the subject of sound.
Love the app. Works flawlessly on my iPad 2. I love the sample tracks wondering what are the titles and artists name? Especially track 2.- Yog

SPL Phonitor - Any Thoughts?
Hi Rik, Just a feedback on the VU meter light/bulbs. I prefer the yellow rather than the white/bluish, which is changed in all new batch. Any hint on SPL plan thinking to release DA/AD converter in the future or even a newer amp? I know if there is, it will be a secret but any information...- Yog

The is the only amp I would never sell. It is very fast and neutral. Can't wait for their new line ups when release sometime late this year or next year (as per Lehmann Audio).- Yog

SPL Phonitor - Any Thoughts?
I normally leave the Phonitor plugged in all the time, and just turn it off from the back switch. I am using it with both high and low ohms headpones (HD 800 being my main cans, HD 25, HE6, LCD-2 and T1). I always reduce the volume to min before I switch it off. So far haven't heard any beeping...- Yog
