I just got my Fostex TH-X00 and I am beyond impressed. I owned and loved the Denon AH-D2000 for years and this is better in every way. One question though. What is the best DAC/AMP combo to drive these phones? What would be good in the $200 or below range? If something cost a bit more I can...

I want to try something different and was seeing if any of these were good upgrades. Better controlled bass, more slam, better isolation etc etc.

Hmm. Now I'm thinking Moda m100 or NAD VISO HP50. Coming from a D2000 which would be better?

Thank you. Is the Mad Dog Pro a worthy upgrade over the Mad Dog for my purposes? Are either better than the Denon AH-MM400. I can get an amp if I need to.
