They are sold at the same price more or less. What are you using now? Somebody compared to some "heaven" PRO DACs such as Prism Sound DA2 or Lavry Gold?

@purk hi, the CD1700 you have modded and posted the photos, share the same drivers as the CD3000?

@purk @protoss @GREQ Hi, I have found a really nice Sony CD 1700, possibly the first revision as in the rear of the box it's written "Sony Corporation 1996 Printed in Japan" There is a layer, too, maybe is possible to de sure that this is a first 1996 edition? It seems in really excellent...
