Favourite albums of the last couple months
The Tallest Man on Earth - The Wild Hunt I love this album. I love good, solid, acoustic driven folk/country with interesting vocals. So yeah, this album was made for me. So good. -

Homebrew
Been homebrewing for about a year now. I went all grain after 4 batches and haven't looked back. I have focused mainly on the styles that I enjoy drinking every day, so I have stuck to the pale ales, IPAs, stouts, porters and such. I have brewed 18 batches this first year, and enjoyed this hobby...- Yaboosh

Xbox 360 owners.. Sneak peak into the HD-DVD external drive
Are you really that surprised? If it were pretty close, I would personally be impressed. I don't think Microsoft ever set out to make a top-tier DVD player with the 360. As for the HD-DVD addon, even if it doesn't closely compare to the stand-alone units, the price difference will make it...- Yaboosh

Police SUV runs over woman on beach
There are many beaches here in Florida that allow vehicles. Some beaches require you to have a special permit, but others, anybody can be on the beach. It is amusing to see the Honda Civics and Ford Mustangs get stuck in the loose sand.- Yaboosh

Country Music
Good Country is great. Bad country is everywhere. Brad Paisley, Allison Krauss and Union Station, Hank I, II, and III, Waylon and Shooter Jennings, Cash, Beth Orton, Lucinda Williams, Elvis Costello (his country albums anyway), Cowboy Junkies, Jayhawks..... The good country is great, but... -

Any swimmers out there?
You could probably get away with a lot less distance but get a better work out by working into timed sets. The pressure of making the time each and every time really gets you to working it hard. Start out with something like a 200IM/200free warmup, then go into a set of 6 100yd/m free in...- Yaboosh
