SASH Deux & Tres; impressive planars from Ukraine

Anyone has any comment on the long term reliability of the headphones? Asking because my Verum headphones developed cable connectivity issues just by sitting unused in my cupboard. My country's local distributor told me they have to stop carrying the Verum because the failure return rate was...

Introducing the Drop + Etymotic ERX In-Ear Monitors

Two reasons that I'll find compelling: 1) The evo shell looks to provide a better fit than the original stick-like shell. 2) Some might prefer less of a treble presence than what the ER4XR currently provides.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Nah, ideally you want it to be powered by the smartphone so it'll be easily pocketable. I had a first gen Fulla dongle, ultimately I will classify it a failed product because of the high failure rate caused by the small volume knob. Plus if you're going to put it in your pocket, you don't...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Exactly lol. Reading the discussions I was thinking "didn't Jason just said in the latest video that Mike and Dave are interested in doing a dongle for smartphones that cost less than $99? And there is a good chance it will be named Dingleberry?"

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I had been putting off getting the Modi MB card for my Asgard 3 (hoping to score a Mani 2 or Vali 2+ b stocks and combine the order) and now I'll have to wait. Fortunately for me, it's not an important purchase as I already have a Modi MB. EDIT: After watching the recorded livestream, I'm VERY...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I personally am a bit curious why Chinese tube companies will not be interested to sell to Schiit. Can't be tariffs because China exports alot of electronics to US. Can't be quantity because Schiit has the ability to buy alot. The only reason I can think of is domestic demand is already...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I'm on the fence with regards to cerakote coating. On the plus side: Many different colors Looks and feel great On the down side: I don't think it's really that durable even though it's usually marketed as a gun coating. I used to have it done for my Seiko. After a while, it started to chip...

Agree with you that the Nuratrue's ANC isn't that good, so I just keep it off. Besides the great SQ, the connection is the most stable and reliable of those in my collection, and the touch interface is the most responsive too.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Discussions here tend to focus on the newer models. The AZ60 is newer than the Nuratrue so naturally we see more discussions of the former here. I have the Nuratrue and out of my five TWS in rotation (Sony XM3, UE Fits, Marshall Mode II and Beo E8), I'll probably recommend the Nuratrue to be...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Ventured out to a major departmental store (have not done so in years thanks to the pandemic) in order to try the Klipsch T5 II. I was intrigued by it because it has consistently reviewed well despite using a small dynamic driver. Prior to this, I have never been impressed by a micro dynamic...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I'm based in Asia and doing pricing for the Asian petrochemical market of which China is a key market so I feel like I'm qualified to shed a light on China. The China situation is more serious than what Schiit has said. The power rationing is due to coal prices (set by the market) being higher...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Came into this thread to get some suggestions for what TWS iems to buy next, settled on the Nuratrues and the Fiil T1 Pro, the former because I was interested in the personalized tuning, and the latter because it was cheap at around $60. The Technics sound interesting too, and so do the Grado...
