I was very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. The overall balance and tonality is neutral with a hint of warm overtones in the midrange. The bass is very full and rich and reaches depths not known to me. Listening to some tracks I heard infrasonic foot tapping sounds of the stage floor etc that was not evident before. The highs are excellent and overall smoothness is good. Soundstage and placement of stereo imaging is very good. Comfort is excellent. Fit is good but would be better with foam tips. I am using upgraded gold braided cables...
