[FiiO M5] Compact and Versatile Hi-Res Music Player
Same question. We see BT v5.0 in CSR8675 specs, but still v4.2 firmware in the product brief. Seems, it's just FW upgrade, no hardware changes need.- wztrack

I had the same issue with stock player and PowerAmp player on Note 4 (Exinos). But It was resolved with USB Audio Player PRO (Play throw Android should be switched off). I think it's buffering issue on the SW part.- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
Sounds interesting. Does it mean, we can use signal-wired-only cable? It doesn't work with OTG devices I checked (Note II and G2). Ipad also complains of high power consumption device. Molex pin could be evidence that it's universal board for different devices in Teac product line. Or they...- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
Sure, Teac engineers are very professional and they develop Esoteric series, but don't forget, they develop a lot of mp3-Iphone-all-in-one sound devices also ;) I didn't tell it sounds bad. I just mention that it has no internal power supply for USB, it's is not isolated and they use...- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
I also thought it has internal USB power supply when I bought it, many reviews copy&paste this mistake. In manual we see only: USB input circuit power AUTO The USB port is powered only when the input is USB. When any other input is active, the USB port is not powered...- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
Sounds like mantra ;) Can you show any evidence on the USB board? http://forum.doctorhead.ru/uploads/gallery/album_77/gallery_972_77_4406753.jpg http://forum.doctorhead.ru/uploads/gallery/album_77/gallery_972_77_360322.jpg No optocouplers or coils = no isolation. Do you see TPS65070...- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
Sure you are, otherwise you should would wear a foil helmet and avoid any electronic devices :) It's electronic noise - high-frequency interference of impulse power supply. Teac uses USB powered impulse TPS65070 instead of internal linear power supply.- wztrack

Teac Reference Line UD-501 USB DAC "DSD"
Why you sure it's better? I read that Teac has mediocre USB input. Not isolated (USB board has no optocouplers, coils etc.), powered by usb (not by internal power supply) via impulse (= noisy) power supply chip. Отправлено из моего iPad используя Tapatalk- wztrack

Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
Hi guys. I didn't find any interest for modding HD700 on local forum so decided to discuss it here. Probably, it's possible to fix high-frequency problem covering external radius of driver's plastic grid like Sennheiser does in 600/650 and others "dark" models? Like this (I can't add pictures to...- wztrack
