A47 Review
Finished my first A47... ...It's colorful, to say the least. When plugging directly into my source (computer) without the A47, there is no mute hiss at all, regardless of volume. When going through the A47, even with volume minimized, there's fairly strong background noise. Raising the volume...- Wyloch

Quick Noob TLE2426 Question
Thanks - I'm a moron - I misread the schematic I was looking at. It was the BUF634P that had the resistor to adjust the bandwidth. On that note, do I need to worry about the bandwidth with the A47?- Wyloch

Quick TLE2426 Noob Question
AH I see what you're referring to. I tried to post last night but got a 404 error, so I refreshed and got the same, then the forum wouldn't come up the rest of the night, then just before I went to bed I checked one more time, and the forum was back up, but my post wasn't there, so I assumed...- Wyloch

Quick TLE2426 Noob Question
Does pin 8 (noise reduction) go to V- supply through a capacitor or a through resistor?? I've seen it used both ways, and want to make sure I use this thing correctly in my current project (A47). I've not used one before now.- Wyloch

Quick Noob TLE2426 Question
Does Pin 8 on the TLE2426 DIP package go to V- through a resistor or a capacitor? I've seen both used in different projects during my browsing, and since I'll be using one for the first time on my current project, I'd rather make sure I know what's going on.- Wyloch

The BUF634P
Thanks. Actually, I'm nearly finished with my own original layout. This is the only thing in the way. Again, I have already googled the specs. There's a link to the datasheet in my original posting for this thread. I simply don't know enough about buffers to know which pin is output. Do I use...- Wyloch

The BUF634P
Thanks for the reply. I plan on using the 8DIP package. I do not plan on using the layout in the guide; I am going strictly by the circuit diagrams at the bottom (except that I'm using 2134 opamps, but they have the same pinouts so all is well). The pin assignment in the datasheet does not...- Wyloch

The BUF634P
Hi folks - quick question. I'm building the A47 following the circuit diagram in this guide: http://feistworks.com/ben/a47/images..._schematic.pdf My question is about the buffer. According to this datasheet: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/buf634.pdf#search='buf634p%20datasheet'...- Wyloch

My Power Amp Project
Okay, I've got Klipsch RF-3 towers and I'd like to build a new amp for them. Currently using a Carver m-500t, but have heard that that amp tends to colorize the sound. My idea is to build four of these: http://sound.westhost.com/project19.htm And power the mids and treble seperately on...- Wyloch

Potentiometer help?
Newb here. What does it mean if a pot is a "10k pot?" Does that mean it goes from 0 ohms (fully open, clockwise) to 10k ohm (fully closed, counter clockwise)? Also, I need a pot that has one input and output. I'm very familiar with the pot recommended by Tangent in the CMOY tutorial, but I...- Wyloch
