Actually this is just a sales platform, where people keep getting hyped on a regular basis and not only about the Focals. Someone needs to keep buyers in the hype loop, so headphone companies, "independant" bloggers and event participants (ho ho ho), responsibles behind this forum and shop...

Yep and I also don't like the fact, that they only offer it with the stupid 3-pin XLR connectors. I guess they still don't offer an alternative to push their U-05 amp/dac. The U-05 is really good, however I would like to check the M1 out on my other amps featuring balanced options as well. 

Hi,   I use the V281 + V850 combo with the HD800S and it's a perfect match, however I use the balanced cable coming with the HD800S, didn't try SE yet (and don't see any reason to try it at the moment). Actually that combo is a perfect match for most headphones I own, except for the TH900...

  I can borrow the balanced cable for the Pioneer Master 1 to you as I remember you are living somewhere near the Essen area? However it's the one from Pioneer, which has two 3-pin connectors.
