OMG, just been playing through some track's the bass is WAY better with these new pads, not just louder but more controlled and and precise. This has just made my day its like listening to a new set of headphones again.

Wow i cant believe its been 5 years since i got my pair of pro 900's! They still sound just as amazing as the day i got them, Today i fitted a new set of ear pads, i decided to try a cheap set from ebay listed for the Beyerdynamic DT440 DT660 DT770 Here are some pics of my ghetto installation...

Hi guise   Had my pro 900's for a couple of years now and still love them, i have now gone through both sets of the ear pads, the fabric has started to come away :( dosen't effect the sound but they look bad and one is getting worse.   Can anybody recommend some pads that are easy to fit...

Can anybody tell me if the headphone output jack on an iphone is a good quality source to connect to an amplifier? I don't own an iphone but would like to get one if its a good quality source.

What would be a good upgrade from these cans that still have a similar amount of bass?

Well i gotta say a big thanks to the pro 900's they were my 1st high end headphones and brought a complelty new world of sound to my ears that i never knew was possible. I want to try out some other can's now so i am going to be putting my 900's up for sale.

Ok well im now running with said cables and can't tell any diffrence, however ive since discoverd asio4all for winamp which seems to have increased SQ :D  

I currently have a  asus xonar essence st and a pair or ultrasone pro 900's, What kind of headphone amp would be the next step up that would offer a significant upgrade from what i currently use? I don't really have a budget but how much would i be likley to need to spend to notice a significant...

Will using a 1/4 inch jack to 3.5mm  smaller jack along with a 3 meter exsention cable effect the SQ of my ultrasone pro 900's? The stock cable is one of thoose spiral round ones and keeps getting tangled up which is pretty anoying.
