Bamboo Earbuds!!
What I've noticed is that if you remove the rubber 'gasket', the ... grill thing comes off and the driver's accessible. I've never done this work, but would there be any major obstacles to transplanting a driver from your fave' cheap earbuds into the AmadChinas? And would this be an improvement...- WiredMonk

Bamboo Earbuds!!
There's another eBay seller, in Milwaukee, selling these. Those of you who didn't get a chance to buy them and try them out might have a chance. He assures me they're the genuine headphones, but I have my suspicions they may be the same ones. Regardless, he appears to be taking offers, and if...- WiredMonk

The Canon Thread
17-55 f 2.8 IS is one of the best mid-range lenses out there for the Canon crop bodies, which translates to about 28-80 on a standard scale. Tamron and sigma both have very decent budget priced versions. there ARE decent 18-2xxs out there, which would give you that wide angle and...- WiredMonk

Bamboo Earbuds!!
Just got mine in. They've got a MASSIVE flaw in the bamboo. Sound pretty decent, but I kinda suck at being an audiophile. The hard hooks hurt my ears and I'm trying to think of easy mods to do. Alot of my metal pieces have scratches, too, already. The number of cosmetic flaws reported and...- WiredMonk

Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket 11mm?
Well, I realized they were actually the 9mm version and decided that I might was well stick it out for something else. I've misplaced the reciept and figure I have a better chance of convincing them to let me return it if its unopened. I did pick up some Lowriders for 50% off, though, and I...- WiredMonk

Man, that duck wasn't the only thing that was cold... this was actually right during dusk, right next to the lake in kingston Ontario sometime during November. Might give you an idea... this was about a month before the lake actually froze over. (Which I have tons of pics of as well) I lit it...- WiredMonk

Tell us about your AVATAR .
Mine is a Bhuddist Monk who is being brain-scanned for a neurological study, and it looked so much like he was being attacked by iBuds and it fit so well with my name I just HAD to use him.- WiredMonk
