Good to know!   I am actually debating if I should buy the X10's since I want an upgrade from my current Image S4's, which I really like by the way.    Do you think going from S4 to X10 is worth it?

I too use XLD for call my Flac to Apple Lossless conversions.    I am not sure why your files are all weird, perhaps a re-install of the program or perhaps something is wrong with your flac files?

Regardless, computer speaker or not, those Swans look amazing.    I have the m10's currently and they are quite good, to my ears.    Perhaps someday I will upgrade to the T200b. I just really like the white faced speakers!

Maybe the Nuforce udac-2 would be a good start.    It's just $129. I've only heard good things about that dac/amp combo

You just named my dream set up, HDP + D7000   I am going to settle for the next best thing, the Icon HD + D2000 =D

I was looking at the Nufore Icon HP (not HDP) since its 100 bucks less only because it has less inputs.    I've heard only good things about that dac/amp

The stands made from halwoodworking.com look really good. It is bookmarked for when I buy my D2000's =D

I, too, will be looking for a DAC for my d2000.    I was looking around and I think the NuForce HD, not the HDP, is worth it. The only difference between the two are that the HDP has all the extra inputs but I only want it for the RCA out and the headphone out =D
