The congestion is partly caused by the quantity of bass decay as well. I can't have that at all though. On type E, there was actually energy loss during transitions in the upper mids, which can be seen around the 3KHz mark in the graph (circled in green). Also, notice how the upper mids with...- WilliamCruz

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Thank you for your input. After some research, I am thinking of getting the xDuoo Link2 Bal. Not 100% sure if it would be okay with IEMs lower than 16 ohms. Has anyone measured if it altered the FR out of 3.5mm low-gain.- WilliamCruz

I did have the same first impressions. Here's a summary after using it for about a year. Stock tips have plenty of bass. The soundstage could also get congested with crowded tracks, especially if they were already bass-heavy. This is probably due to the stock tips having a narrow opening and...- WilliamCruz

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Does anyone know of a good DAC that is suitable for low-impedance IEMs (12-14 ohms)? I am looking for something that has low output impedance (to prevent FR deformation) and it should be truly neutral.- WilliamCruz

I currently have E5000 as my daily driver. E5000 would not only be an upgrade but also a change in sound. The E4000 has more energy in the upper midrange, which I found lacking in the E5000. Also, the E5000 sounded different with a desktop stack compared to a typical setup. Besides, I think...- WilliamCruz
