Needledrop Service
Earlier in my thread I mentioned I was considering the following: MMF-5, Rega P1 and P2, Pro-Ject Debut III and Pro-Ject Expression. I've now added the Technics SL-1210MK2 to my consideration list and basically eliminated the P1 and Debut III. Ignoring all other factors, is there...- Willchester

Needledrop Service
Good to know on the Pro-ject Debut III. I've been reading up on TT's some more and I notice a lot of peeps upgrade the cart on it right from the start. That puts us in the next level of TT's I'm looking at $ wise so perhaps I'll start there. nelamvr6 I keep getting a lot of that Fragile...- Willchester

Well, I'm right there with you on the ipod. I never would have considered one on my own but my wife got me one and it is the cause of me being here and ultimately buying a bunch more ****.- Willchester

Needledrop Service
Thanks for the replys. So a quick update: I did find someone who will do a needledrop for me for vinyl I own. So I definitely plan to try that and see how I like it and I'm also shopping for a turntable because I probably will like the result. Maybe the needledrop I get will make a good...- Willchester

Needledrop Service
OK GlendaleViper that description is borderline TT softcore **** or something. I like it....I think. I guess I'll head over to the Source forum and at least check out some good entry level TT's.- Willchester

Needledrop Service
I'm kind of heading in that direction Erik but I just don't have much opportunity to listen where I can setup a TT. But....I'm itching to just buy the damn thing, a TT, and then I'll figure it out from there I guess. It's just all the fiddly stuff, I don't have the time, patience or skill...- Willchester

Needledrop Service
Are there any businesses/individuals who provide a needledrop service for a reasonable fee? I'm not trying to break any laws here. This would simply be a fee for service where I own the vinyl and I pay to have the vinyl dubbed or whatever it is called into a high quality digital format. A...- Willchester

Tool - "Lateralus"
Does A Perfect Circle have the heavy guitar riff stuff or is it lighter and more vocal oriented?- Willchester

Tool - "Lateralus"
I recently picked up the 4 main Tool albums and I like them all. I'm not really into lyrics in general though. I did recently read the lyrics to some of the Undertow songs and kind of wish I hadn't. Some of it seems pretty twisted to me so I had to make up my own interpretations I could live...- Willchester

Hornet Volume Knob
OK, I just actually pulled the knob off and I can see what you guys are talking about. I'm a little embarrassed I didn't recognize that set screw in the first place, but been using it mostly in darker surroundings I guess and it is really small. I'm going to have to find a very small hex driver...- Willchester

Hornet Volume Knob
How much, if any, play or slop should there be in the volume knob? Mine has about 1/2 the distance between two of the volume indicator marks, so maybe an 1/8" or so. So far I really like the amp but was wondering if this is normal.- Willchester
