Very interested in these phones. Can anyone/Will anyone tell me how they preform compared to other $80 headphones? Or the M50's?   I've been stuck with ipod buds lately and I'd love for good, sub-$100, portable headphones. If anyone has any suggestions, just message me with them or reply here.

So, I can assume you like everything else about them and want those strong points in better phones?

My budget would be around $150. The cord got slightly detached from the jack on the inside and it stopped working, I took it in twice to the same headphone repair guy and each time it lasted only 2 weeks or so. I'm without any portable headphones now. :/

Mine broke lately, so I need a headphone LIKE them to replace them, going to the same shoddy repairshop three times in a row for the same repair, isn't in my immediate future.

They are strong at first, but after about a week, or 2 days of doing that, they should loosen up enough.

Any other views on the SRH 750 DJ's? Starting to think I should have gotten these instead of my 840's... If anyone ever wants to trade, I still have the box and everything for my 840's the phones themselves in mint cond. ?

My M50's used to be my all-around phone up until now. The M50's died out on my way home today... My 840's are currently my home phone, but I need a new one to take around with me. Would either the 750dj's or the 840's fix that?

Those look nice, but they're wood right? Would there be anything I should know about taking care of those cans if I got them? All my past cans have been plastic.
