Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt Loaner program
Here is my review of the Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt, after spending a week with it. I’m already a happy owner of a Dragonfly Red, using it with my iPhone and iPad along with Westone W60s or ES60s. I was excited to try the Colbalt after all of the positive reviews on the audiophile press...- wellers73

Review of Westone Bluetooth V2 cable with aptX HD vs Westone Bluetooth V1 cable with aptX
Thanks for the thorough review! I have the V1 Westone BT cable, which I use on my W20s, while I use my W60s and ES60s wired. Was thinking of getting the V2 cable to run my W60s permanently wireless, like you have. Just to confirm - you did the review using the original versions of the W60s...- wellers73

Lightning to USB-C - For Audeze and other lightning headphones
Any idea how this would work with a 2018 IPad Pro with a USB-C connection? Would I get the full functionality of the Cipher cable including DSP when using the Anker adapter?- wellers73

Amp recommendations for Audeze LCD-2
I have a Sansui G-3500 as a backup amp, and it drives my LCD2s like a champ! It's a bit noisy (it's been a while since it was cleaned up), but sounds like it's putting a lot of power into them. I can't find any specs about the headphone output, but it must be considerable.- wellers73

I'm in Stereophile!
Stereophile have been running a series called Musicians As Audiophiles, and have featured me in the latest installment. It's mostly about my home hifi setup, but I made sure to get some info on my head-fi rig in there as well, since I actually spend more time listening on the go. Hope you enjoy...- wellers73

I agree with this assessment. My DX80 sounded good out of the box, but everything became more cohesive after burn in.- wellers73

Fiio X5 3rd gen || 2x AKM 4490 || Balanced Out || DSD || DXD | DTS | Android || Dual Card Slot
I'm wondering, since more and more people have the X5iii in their hands, how does the new X5iii compare with the iBasso DX80? I know it's not an entirely fair comparison, since the FiiO has more extensive features and functionality. But from a sound and UI perspective, how do they compare?- wellers73

iPhone 7/7+ Compact External DAC/Amp Thread
The Shure cable will downsample hi-res to 24/48. The Dragonflys will play hi-res natively. Some people believe there's a noticeable difference in sound between 48 and 96 or 192, and some don't. The USB3 CCK solves the audio problems, but it's bulkier and makes the Dragonflys a bit less portable.- wellers73
