Accidentally stabbed my headphones!
Quote: Thank you! I haven't noticed any sound changes yet but I'll like to repair it at least. I'll definitely look for that next time I'm at Walmart. Quote: Hahaha, no I was trying to open them for the first time and I guess I put a little too much pressure trying to open...- w00t1337

Accidentally stabbed my headphones!
How easy is it to fix this if I buy another element? As you can see, I'm pretty clumsy haha. Would just using tape or something be a good enough fix?- w00t1337

Accidentally stabbed my headphones!
They still sound fine but is there anyway I can replace the cone or fix it? These are the Beyer DT 990 Pro 250 ohms.- w00t1337

Not enough bass!
You guys are not making this easy on me haha. To get some more opinions, what do you two last guys think about the bass quality/quantity of the hfi-580 vs pro 900 and are they a big difference from my dt 990?- w00t1337

Not enough bass!
Can I use the bass boost feature on the e7 and just plug it in directly to my e9? Or would I just be better off selling the e9, and buying an e17?- w00t1337

Not enough bass!
Quote: Thank you very much MalVeaux for your help. I think I am getting my hopes up too much about it sounding like a true subwoofer (I've had a few different sets of subwoofers in my car at one point). I think maybe I'll just try for the e7 (use it for the bass boost) and get some...- w00t1337

Not enough bass!
Hmm... I'm thinking maybe I should go with the Ultrasone Pro 900's + e17. So there would be a whole lot more bass than my current DT 990 pro + e9? Are the Pro 900's worth $200 more over the HFI-580's?- w00t1337

Not enough bass!
Hey guys, my setup is a Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 ohm with a Fiio E9 amp and Creative X-fi Titanium sound card (not HD version). I loved them for months and months after I originally bought them but now I no longer feel like it has that type of punchy bass that I want (I guess I'm a...- w00t1337

Need help deciding on my first pair
Are you sure that the e6 is enough? I am just making sure because my friend is telling me that I really need an e9. I'll get an e9 if I have to but I'd definitely rather get the e6 if it's all I need because of the price difference. Are the mids washed out by the bass? Does anyone have any...- w00t1337

Need help deciding on my first pair
Hi guys, just registered but I've been viewing this forums for a few months and trying to research as much as possible on which headphones I should buy. I am a gamer who plays a lot of FPS games but I also like to listen to music. My music tastes are probably 50% rock/50% hip hop & rap. I...- w00t1337
