Does anyone know whether the detachable cables on the 9200 use the same type of detachable connectors as the Focal Clear? I think it's a 3.5 mm plug on the Clear. I'm hoping to buy one after-market cable that I could use with both my Clear and the 9200 when I get a pair. Thank you

For those of us with older amps, that don't have Pentaconn outputs (e.g. mine has 3-pin and 4-pin (stereo) XLR), what will be the best way to listen to the 820? Is there a way to take advantage of the newer technology? Or should we just limit ourselves to the included single-ended RCA cable...

I won't be able to make this one, but I hope to see some people at SSI next March, if not earlier.

I already contacted James Tanner at Bryston about whether he would be willing to lend you (or Michel) a BDA-1 and BDP-1 for the show.     And I would love to hear the audiophileo.  Looking forward to it.  My GCHA should have arrived by then, and maybe the Denon 7000s, if anyone is interested...

Has anyone tried the Ed 8s with the PS AUdio GCHAs?  I've looked through the various threads but wasn't able to find anything, although people seem to like this amp with the Denon 5000s and 7000s.   And does anyone know whether B&H or other retailers are offering the Ed 8s at a discount?  I...

And to clarify, I will probably attend the show on Friday, although I'm waiting to hear back from the SF rep as to which day would be best for him.

I don't think I'll be in the room as much as I was last year, just because I want to spend some time with the Sonus Faber speakers.  So maybe a couple of hours.   Unless someone brings a pair of Ultrasone Edition 8s -- then I'll be in the room all day.

Should I register through SSI or will be able to attend as exhibitors without paying the registration fee?  I will probably come up on Friday as I want to listen to a few speakers when there aren't as many people around.  I'm thinking about upgrading my system.

I heard both the K-01 and K-03 at CES, and they are fantastic.  Not sure what else I can say about them, other than I'd probably get the K-03 because it was close enough to the K-01 for me and a lot less money. 

I'm planning to use it with the Denon 7000s, hoping that the pair will make a nice combination. Or maybe the 5000s -- haven't decided yet how much I'd like to spend. I'd love to know whether you think the Cullen mods are worth it. It seems a little expensive for the parts that are upgraded.

PS Audio did confirm that they are not working on a replacement for this amp, and I agree with fzman -- it's a crazy bargain at $500. Not sure why they lowered the price so much, but I'm definitely getting one.
