    they sure are, I love them more then my crummy sexttets is not that the akg's are bad, the sixtys are just so much better.:) so long as you replace the caps and seal them up.

    the caps have been replaced and the vents are sealed. cotton stuffing was added to the ear pads, I also put cotton the the ear cups as well. any one have any tips on restuffing the head band ?

    would anyone like to see my big bad stanton dynaphase sixty's I have a set, semi restored to:) they make my akg sextett's sound crappy (post restored) b4 I did anything to them the sextett were a bit better.

    I'm going to be buying a new old head band, and new ear pads. that being said I'm going to add a second screw, nice idea on the back wire. I'm sure I would have thought of that, I did just add that mod today. good luck getting mine lol :atsmile:
