Little Dot MKIII Tube Rolling
Hey thanks for the idea on the aluminum foil. Times are tough and I can hide the amp for now with the foil while I search for a more permanent solution like a Faraday cage.- vixro

Little Dot MKIII Tube Rolling
Does anyone have recommendations for shields for the tubes that are compatible with the MK3? Or maybe even a full steel enclosure? I get a lot of feedback from my wifi router and my cellphone that the amp easily picks up and it creates a background ticking that really bothers me. If I place...- vixro

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
Just got around to rolling some tubes I bought years ago (my little dot had a broken cap that I just spent the last 2 days taking apart and repairing, that space is TIGHT!!!!!!!). Now that I've had a chance to really test my RCA 6AK5W's and these Voskhod's I'm happy to say the Voskhod's are...- vixro

Headphones for EDM in 2020?
Been listening to trance on my Sennheiser HD580's for over 10 years which is a testament to their build quality and comfort. I've upgraded the headband with a BD leather wrap for comfort and changed the grilles to HD600 grilles for a slightly more open soundstage. A 650 cable was the finishing...- vixro

The MODDED Sennheiser HD 580 appreciation thread.
Never, I repeat never, get rid of your modded HD580! It's perfection with the BeyerDynamic headband and the HD650 cable (or cardas, but the 650 cable is much more duarable). I'm over 10,000 hours and to the point that I have a dent in my skull from them. I'll never release them until I die!- vixro

Closed headphones that sound like HD580's?
Going to bump an old thread since I believe more options are available now but I have the same question. I have owned my HD580s (with 600 grille, and beyer headband cover) for what seems like almost 10 years now. The comfort and sound are absolutely phenomenal. I can wear these...- vixro

Yen Audio - Problems?
Sorry to bring up an extremely old thread, but it seemed better than just making a new thread. Based off of the recent feedback to yen, does anyone know if anything happened? I ordered some tubes on July 8th and paid directly after but have no received anything yet. I tried contacting him...- vixro

Durable, HQ, non sweaty, not in-ear, unamped headphones for ipod?
I asked, he said he doesn't like the way they feel and that the quality level just isn't what he wants. When he turns the sound up loud, the bass gets garbled and the sound quality just blows. Also, he doesn't sweat when he works, he just doesn't want something to get hot after a long...- vixro

Durable, HQ, non sweaty, not in-ear, unamped headphones for ipod?
I think the trouble is that he wants something not bulky, but not sweaty, and high quality. Most of the high quality cans I can think of that don't sweat (like my HD580's), are too bulky to use while you work. He isn't doing anything like a heavy workout or a lot of motion, but it's not just...- vixro

Durable, HQ, non sweaty, not in-ear, unamped headphones for ipod?
This might seem like a tough choice but are there any sets of headphones that meet these requirements? My brother is looking to increase the quality of his sound without hindering his ability to work. He is outside for his job and always alone (power washing, though he himself doesn't get...- vixro

Senn Headband Replacement
When mine broke they wanted $60 + shipping to replace the part (you have to call the phone number). I couldn't really find it available or for sale anywhere else for cheaper, some places were more expensive! Fortunately, if you are still within your 2 year warranty like I was and can...- vixro
