And just to be 100% sure we’re on the same page. After resetting the unit, you went to remote type and clicked to Apple and then put the code (I Think it is 143) in the remote code box? You can do that by clicking the remote after you set it to Apple if you highlight the remote code number box.- vintinfinity

I’ll have to check when I get home. Mytek’s service department is very good if you submit a ticket on the support page. Send them a message!- vintinfinity

whenever you update firmware and do the reset to complete the firmware upgrade you have to set the type of remote and remote code from the front panel to get it to work again. If you’ve already done that, then idk.- vintinfinity

the only toggle I know of is for automatic switching between the internal headphone amp on the Brooklyn if headphone is plugged into the front and the main outputs, headphone only or outputs only. It outputs to both XLR and RCA at the same time, with option for analog or digital volume control...- vintinfinity

My desktop systems are better, but not so much so that I feel like I can’t enjoy them on the...- vintinfinity

Not aware of any serial number on the actual headphones... could be wrong though, just never seen anything even with the pads off.- vintinfinity

I haven’t tried it, but that’s how it works. With the correct wiring with two 1/4” connectors to a 4 pin XLR it functions in balanced. You can get the adapter on eBay for like $45 made for this DAC specifically- vintinfinity
