Bump, got my HA2 today and was also disappointed to find that a simple USB A to C did not work for music and the charging function somewhat doesn't work. I'm on a Galaxy Z Fold 4 It did work using s USB C to A cable then adapted to USB A to Micro USB adapter to the HA2 Galaxy ZFold4 -> USB C...

I would love to get into speakers but I wouldn't want to buy a budget system...and a good high end system costs like $100k doesn't it?

Yeah HD800S is OG HD800 with an SDR. HD820 is an HD800 with an SDR mod and glass making it closed back.

Incredible answer Redcarmoose! That was the reason I bought them when I turned 19 years old....they were legendary, so many people were talking about these headphones because it was at the time one of the few flagship headphones to come out...I remember some even calling these "Orpheus 2"...

I personally don't like the 1266 at all other than sound. Might just get the Diana Phi since it's supposed to be the same membrane as the 1266. Plus it has a better overall look

My reasonings, I loved the sound and when modded (SDR Mod) they sing and sound great...not the world's best but A- The design is years ahead (subjectively) from any other headphones They have a great soundstage, arguably the best but again some will disagree These will stay with me for years...

The hard part is that we will never agree on anything, people's opinion on what is "best" is subjective. Some believe the OG HD800 are "best" some believe the 009 are also best, some haven't heard the Orpheus but still think those are best. It's very hard to actually pinpoint all the top tier...

Abyss 1266 TC has a membrane thinner than 009 . So yes it's better now. I've listened to it. 009 is dethroned and Abyss is king.

Trying to use my AudioEngine D1 on the Note 9, worked on my OnePlus but the Note 9 won't power it on? What the heck? Anybody got any ideas or should I ditch the phone and go to something else?
