    Gaming headphones aren't as bad as some people make them out to be. The Sennheiser PC360s I have are quite nice. The only real problem is you're paying a very large premium ($75-$100 or so) for the mic. In general, it would be a better idea to get a nicer pair of headphones, then spend like $35...

    I think he means that people generally associate 'cheap' with 'not as good', and he thinks this is very comparable to some higher priced products.

    K618DJ and O2 amp

    I don't know much about the K618DJ, but I have the Q701s (which are known to be very similar to the K701s), and I have the ODAC+O2 combo. If the K618DJ are anything like their higher numbered versions, I can tell you that it will be a world of difference with the ODAC+O2.   That being said...
