Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Thread
Quote: They already got them on their website so they probably will get them for tryout, too. Then I definitely will give them a listen and share my impressions with you. (Maybe even with a direct comparison if they still got the 1st generation) Quote: That would be really awesome!- ulfarn

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Thread
Quote: I already listened to the T1 and they suited my preferences very well. Now I hope to be able to compare them to the 2nd generation soon to make sure which I prefer before buying (even if its just little difference, I want to decide for myself and not to other people's reviews )...- ulfarn

once again, nice work! So you say they are even a bit better than the original T1s? And that for a cheaper price ... Guess, now I really have to try it myself. Hopefully I will get the drivers of the 2nd generation T1, would love to hear them.- ulfarn

Quote: So, it won´t work while using glasses? Or will the base still sound good, if you make the holes larger (or maybe use other earpads?)? Actually I will have to wait until I can try it myself (the T1 drivers are just to expensive for me right now...) That´s the same in...- ulfarn

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Nice work! Actually I'm thinking of using tesla drivers instead of the DTs. From the T1 or T5p probably.- ulfarn

Wow, much more detailed answer than I expected. Thanks a lot! If you want to, I will keep you updated, which one I´m choosing and then how it sounds. But actually I´m from Germany, so I can directly order at the website. (Hope I´ll be able to add profile information soon)- ulfarn

I´ll probably use the drivers from the T90 or a 600 ohm DT770. Maybe you can give me some advise, which driver would sound the best in it? (I´ve never listened to the T90, just the DT770) Btw, i´ve heard that Beyerdynamic is using the same drivers for the 770/880/990. Is that true?- ulfarn

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Ya, i want to put the 600 ohm drivers from the DT770 into it. But i don´t want to use my perfectly working COP´s for it, so i´m looking for broken ones. Pretty much the same like in this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/638028/beyerdynamic-custom-one-pro-thread/30#post_11700843- ulfarn

Wow, nice work man! I have also a pair of these headphones and i´m thinking about changing the drivers, too. Did you just soldered the new ones in or was there more to do? (except improving looks and comfort) and are these earpads a big improvement to the original ones of the COP?- ulfarn

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread
on the first page of this thread you can find some different Op-Amps tested with the HD650s. According to it the LME49720 is a good choice, if you want more bass the LM6172 would be a better choice. The LME49720HA has a better bass and also the sound stage should be better than the NA´s, but...- ulfarn
