I listen to hip-hop almost exclusively, and I find that it really doesn't matter what headphone you wear. However if I were to make a choice, I would have to say I like my HF-1's the best, that and the portapro's.

Those look nasty. They look so bulky, and the cable comming out of the middle of the one side. I can see the size being a problem.
