    Dragonfly Red low volume issue

I know that the Red works with Usb-AudioPlayer-Pro and the Neutron player but not with Poweramp or any others I've tried and definitely not with Youtube, Netflix etc.

    Dragonfly Red low volume issue

From post #5: Dragonfly Red features a 64 step digital volume control. When installed on a mobile device, Dragonfly defaults to a volume setting of 22 (the 22nd step out of 64). This is to ensure that no damage can be done to your equipment or to your hearing. However some Android devices...

Looking to replace my iPod Touch

There seem to now be a lot of companies servicing Ipods. I had good luck with Milliamp repairing my Itouch after I dropped it in the toilet. They replaced the battery and the headphone jack for ~ $60 or so with good communications throughout the process.

The first song you listen to when you get new headphones

Sarah Vaughan "That's All" from Crazy and Mixed Up  Joni Mitchell "You Turn Me On I'm A Radio" from For The Roses   Female vocals, piano, acoustic guitars. Not a big test of bass but they reveal sibilance and presence to me.

Headphones.com is giving away a pair of Creative Aurvana Lives: Tell us about the best live show you've ever seen

As an old geezer I have somewhat of a historical advantage, so ……from August 30 thru Sept. 1, 1969 Lewisville, Texas was the Texas International Pop Festival. I managed to finagle a job working back stage doing light security or whatever was required (picking up trash). I was 5’ 8” and maybe...

Cable Believers -- Price/quality tipping points?

I know you've been talking about wire leads here but I've got to blurt out my new experiences with fiber optics. I'm coming from my PC to a DacMagic to a Samuels Hornet to K701's. I first used a 75ohm coax from my soundcard, then tried a 4 foot $25 Monster standard fiber cable from my...
