I'm in a similar situation as ron92. Upgrading from my LG to a new phone but don't know where to go now that LG is done with phones. I had considered the Xperia 1 iii but with how many different issues i've read about it and the fact that it seems it's rarely in stock, I'm not sure anymore.

I pretty much exclusively use devbrada for buying via headfi, is there any plans to update that to work with the new system? Latest listings are from March 3rd :/

Hey Slater, I was wanting to try your beats earpad mod on these headphones but I was thinking that this could damage/effect the tweeter, since it is attached to the backing plate. Do you destroy the ceramic tweeter in this process?

Theyve always been basshead headphones. With biggest pads, the bass overwhelms the others frequencies and loses definition. With small pads, the bass and highs are more balanced but its still a bassy and bright headphone.

You're not wrong. I do find the treble harsh with the original pads though.
