Monoprice Hi-Fi DJ Style Headphone Review

Everyone's been commending the excellent performance of these at the budget price, but I'm wondering how they compare to the (also $30) Portapros - I realize that it's hard to compare between open and closed, but from what I'm reading both are excellent choices?   Additionally, do you think...

    Speaker suggestions?

Probably not the best place to ask, but I'm considering on picking up a good set of 2.1 PC speakers to replace my (crappy) Creative Inspire T2900's for use with my new FLAC collection.   I'm considering the Logitech Z-2300 and the M-Audio AV40s, as they're both around the same price on...

KOSS PortaPro 25th Anniversary Edition [Photos + Review]

Finally received my black portapros from BB. Indeed they aren't the special anniversary edition, but they are still black and have the nice cabling. This doesn't really matter anymore, since they're sold out anyways and I doubt they'll be getting more in.   This is my first pair of...

KOSS PortaPro 25th Anniversary Edition [Photos + Review]

Quote: Really, that's a shame, since I bought the BestBuy deal expecting they were the anniversary edition.. :( The image on BestBuy clearly shows the 25th anniversary text, so hopefully they're carrying the special edition online. I'll report back then they arrive next week.

KOSS PortaPro 25th Anniversary Edition [Photos + Review]

In case some of you are looking to score a pair or one for backup, Best Buy has them for $30 with Free Shipping. I doubt this is going to last for long, but it's a superb deal and there's no better time to buy.

    HELP - X-Fi 2 or Sony S series?

The price is around the same, I have to decide between these two players. (Therefore price is not an issue, but these are the only two I have to choose from.) I'm leaning towards the X-Fi for the touch screen, but then I'm not sure how it is with sound quality compared to the Sony.. I know...

    More questions!

Hello all, I have a couple of simple questions that I've had in my mind for awhile: My current setup is a Rockbox'ed iPod nano 1st gen, with my semi-new MDR-V6 cans. I've been considering the purchase of an amp - but I'm wondering how much of a difference it'll make, and if it's worth...

Need high capacity player with SQ

In general, Sony's are known for really good sound quality, you generally can't go wrong. As far as I've owned an ipod, I've had no reliability issues whatsoever, but do keep in mind itunes is your only option. In my opinion, there are better players out there.

Just checking - this would work fine with a rockbox'ed iPod nano 1st gen, correct?
