Los Angeles meet interest check.
Not that I'd be against doing it again but there is a meet in Newport Beach in November. Additionally folks tend to get really busy around that time of year with the holidays. Maybe push it out another month or two? http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f24/or...2009-a-449955/- TreAdidas

An headphone amp that can be used to drive active monitors (or the other way around).
Just a thought... if you're entertaining the possibility of getting a DAC why not save up just a tat more and spring for a DAC that has a preamp and headphone amp built in? If it were my nickle I'd save up and get a used Benchmark DAC1. You can pick these up on Audiogon for ~$700 provided you do...- TreAdidas

What Do You Regret Not Doing/Doing In College?
Going on more trips with my friends. Your college town is great but getting a good group of folks together and road tripping it is the best. I remember leaving New Orleans, LA at 5:00 pm and driving straight to Bowling Green, OH to make it in time for a 9:00 am presentation... that I wrote...- TreAdidas
