sounds good, thanks for coming out alfaudio ok here goes... i have tech 12 turntable connected to my roland dj-1000 mixer via rca cables... also the ground IS connected to the mixer ... then the headphones are hooked up directly to the mixer.. thats it... same thing with the numark mixer...- trancEgeek

i know it shouldn't.... i guess i just dont have luck with headphones, eh gluey and i dont have portable... i mean, i've tested 3 sources so far, i dont think any more would matter- trancEgeek

well i wouldnt go for a headphone amp just yet... i mean, these headphones were built for dj's, were they not? there must be another way to fix this issue... im really having a hard time believing that sennheiser would build a headphone for a dj and have them also buy a headphone amp... there...- trancEgeek

thanks for your reply well, the headphones are hooked up to the roland dj-1000 mixer, and the source is vinyl.... i've played different tracks just to rule out that thing, its still happening... ok, lets put it this way... when i have a track going in one chanel, the gain is set to 5 out of...- trancEgeek

umm.. i got my 280's yesterday... and i was comparing them to the v6s... theyre a lot smoother and fit much better than v6's... i need such headphones for djing... anyway, they are much quieter than v6s... and at high volumes they would distort where the v6s would stay clear... is it just me? or...- trancEgeek

well i use the cans for dj-ing... so i have to replace the parts... i cant go in fear they would break on me in the middle of the set or something... i actually found out the part number for the hanger, i just need the part number for the screw and that other square plastic piece that the screw...- trancEgeek
