To those who told me I wasted my money on the card - you were partially correct :( It seems that is holds 64GB and then stops writing to it so the first music files written, are there and sound good.- tr2420

The brand is a no name card that was $30. - I bought it on a lark, because I also needed a new card for my camera. I am copying DSD songs to the card as we speak. Will know over the next few days if it was worth my time and effort. ( my PC does say it is close to 1 TB. )- tr2420

Have you thought of putting the files/programs on a micro card and reading the card once it is in the Fiio unit ?- tr2420

Hello, I've a question about formatting the microcards. Today I received a 1TB card from Amazon, my first card of this size. (I usually buy the 200GB SanDisk Ultra) I placed it in the M11 unit and began to search for the program to format the new card. I checked the M11 card reader and it...- tr2420

The Fiio M11 puts out 550 mW - from the 2.5mm balanced output + 4.4mm and 255mW from the 3.5mm output. Between that and 'High Gain' - no amp is needed. When I purchased my Fiio X5II I got the Fiio A5 amp. Very simple to use and crystal clear sound amplification.- tr2420

Did you try a different cable and charging unit - to see if that would allow for a full charge ?- tr2420

Strangely enough - since I purchased my M11 my X5II sits unused. After 5 or 6 months I turned it on and it still has a full charge. So maybe it is the android side of the M11 using up power even when turned off ?- tr2420

ADANMTXT1 I also have the X5II matched with the A5 amp. Since I purchased the M11 i haven't picked up the old unit (sadly). The sound, speed, build quality and capabilities are leaps and bounds ahead. Also I don't feel the need to use an amp for the M11 with my Sennheiser HD800...- tr2420

Fiio M9+A5 Amp vs. Fiio M11
Hi - I have the M11 and have been using it without amp on my Sennheiser HD800 headphones - the best sound ever (well for me anyways). I also have the Fiio X5II married to the Fiio A5 amp. Let me just say that once I began listening to the M11 I have not picked up the X5II and sadly it is...- tr2420

Thank you for the info. I was thinking about something to use when I go out for a bicycle ride, or a walk. Less wires, more freedom... still incredible sound. :)- tr2420

Hello, I've wanted to try balanced wiring for my new headphones with my Fiio X5II. Is this a possibility ? I have moved up to HD800 and while they sound superb with the Fiio, I've been told that a wider soundstage and clarity are available using balanced wiring.- tr2420
