Has anyone tried to convert the X2HR to balanced? My FIIO BTR5 could drive it...

I received my ebay-earpads today and it's definitely an improvement over the Brainwavz. The ear-space is oval, not round as with Brainwavz, therefore larger and I guess that's the reason they sound much better now, not muffled any more. More comfortable, too. Very satisfied.

I ordered these already and will report. "more than 10 available" is reason for concern? I do expect them to be mass-manufactured and not hand-woven by chinese grandmas. In the end there were definitely more than 10 Philips headphones manufactured, too.

Thanks. But the linked Brainwavz are the ones I am so disappointed with; round, velour, 100 mm. I stretched them over the original plastic plates, not the base, so no need to cut a hole for the plug. The plates could then be plugged into the mounting holes. Photo: X1 with Brainwavz These are...
