Audio46 did not have them in stock at the store. It would take a while to get them and I wanted them for a trip that I going on early this coming week. I bought them from a reputable dealer online and had them shipped overnight. They probably won't be replaced before I leave.:triportsad:

It malfunctioned with my EE phantoms in, which are 2.5mm balance terminated. I did not use any type of converter to go from 2.5mm to 3.5mm. It also happened that the single-ended output did not work either when plugging my single ended andros to check after the malfunction.

Possibly. I did a factory reset and updated to the latest firmware and it didn't solve the issue. I was using it with my EE Phantoms. Thankfully they are OKAY. I thought it was my headphones, but tried with my Andros single-end after the pop noise and still no sound. I have no clue what had...

Got my SP1000m blue in today. Plugged my headphones, hit the play button, and enjoy the few seconds that I had with it until I heard a pop noise and now the headphone out does work (balanced and single ended). I've since sent it back to the dealer to have them take a look at it. Has anyone here...

The andros are great. Been using them as my commute set and the phantoms as the office set (too afraid to wear them on the crowded subway:sweat_smile:). I agree, depending on the insertion depth of the andros, they can sometimes provide discomfort for long listening sessions.

That's good to know. I didn't know if it was the best thing to reduce the hiss between my Hugo2 and Phantoms. I'll pick one up tomorrow at B&H to try.

Anyone here using the Ifi Iematch with their monitors? How does it effect the sound quality?

Just happens with ciems. Maybe it's the acrylic shell. I think the foam and silicon tips normally absorb the oils so I didn't notice until I got my first pair of ciems.
