HiFi Rose RS250 Network Streamer
My guess is not too many people here use HiFi Rose products. I don't use local library much, in part because their software is quite bad. I almost exclusively use my RS250 as a Roon endpoint. I'm pretty sure VU meters appear for Roon input.- tomwoo

Focal Utopia General Discussion
This is outrageous. I did not think goo-leaking was that common until my original pads started to leak. The pads were replaced under warranty by Focal (through my dealer of course). Now they are saying they "have never come across this goo-leaking phenomenon"?- tomwoo

Focal Utopia General Discussion
A couple of hot weeks in September can go as high as 95-100 when hot air from deserts moves over. Average temperature during summer is about 75. It's actually very flat year around as you mentioned 70-75 in January. I was talking about San Diego. LA is warmer.- tomwoo

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I had the same problem about 2 year into ownership of OG. The pads were replaced under warranty and I have not noticed any goo so far. I'm not sure if Focal had addressed the issue with the replacement pads.- tomwoo

I think it's not uncommon for SONY DAPs to have deal pixels, after all they are putting their worst screens on Walkmans, LOL.- tomwoo
