Shanling M1 Plus - New Generation of Compact MTouch Players
V2.2.6 Thanks Edit --- update I found a workaround but it's not optimal. I created a folder called music and placed all the Artist folders inside. Eddict player still could not see the last 23 artist folders inside of file view. So I created 2 folders, Music 1 and Music 2 and split the...- Tomm11

Shanling M1 Plus - New Generation of Compact MTouch Players
There are 123 main folders labeled by artist. There are subfolders in the main folders labeled by album. It shows 100 main folders. It's missing the last 23 main folders.- Tomm11

Shanling M1 Plus - New Generation of Compact MTouch Players
Have a problem with Eddict player on my iphone. It won't show all the folders in folder view. It shows them all if I go to Artist view but I can't play anything from there. Is there a limit to how many folders Eddict player will show in folder view? Or what am I missing here?- Tomm11

Shanling M1 Plus - New Generation of Compact MTouch Players
Did you ever get this sorted out? For 3.5mm section, this pinout: Tip - Empty Ring 1 - Empty Ring 2 - Ground Sleeve - Signal That is the old Fiio optical configuration. Fiio used to include an adapter with some of the players that had this configuration. One was included with my Fiio X5 III...- Tomm11

Shanling M1 Plus - New Generation of Compact MTouch Players
Just got a new M1 Plus. Im old and have bad eyes. I have a dumb question ... I could be wrong but I don't think there is a a pre-installed screen protector but is there a protective film on the screen that needs to be peeled off? If not, that screen is a fingerprint magnet x10. I know...- Tomm11

Astell&Kern Launches KANN ALPHA Digital Audio Player
I have a Dignis case for my Alpha. Probably not very helpful because I don't think they make them anymore either. Expensive anyway. I think it was just a little less than the A&K case. At this point, I think I'd just take a chance on one of those $49 "custom" leather cases on ebay. May be...- Tomm11

iFi audio iDSD Signature - The saga continues!
I don;t think there is any doubt that it's the simplest solution. I have a Topping G5. It has a switched pot and I hear no imbalance at lower levels and don't think G5 owners complain about channel imbalance in general. I don't know what pot they use or if they check the pots and reject the...- Tomm11

iFi audio iDSD Signature - The saga continues!
I don't know about harder but more expensive, naturally. I haven't seen a readily available, high quality volume potentiometer with a built in switch, although I'm sure they must exist. But clearly, ifi considers it too expensive to test the switches to make sure that what goes in their...- Tomm11

It comes down to ifi insisting on using volume pots with power switch rather than having a separate power switch and volume pot.- Tomm11

One of the "Key Features": "Enjoy precise control with an enhanced volume knob, minimizing any left/right imbalances" I can't believe that this is still an IFI bugaboo. There must be more profit in not fixing it than in fixing it.- Tomm11

Topping G5
As far as I know, G5 doesn't support any of the quick charge protocols. Just a standard 5V 1.2A capable USB charger. I am not aware of any list of supported or unsupported chargers. It will charge with any of the quick chargers but it just won't charge any faster. I have 3 chargers on the...- Tomm11

Tinnitus - Who has them here and what do you do with it
CBD has helped me to some degree. I've had tinnitus for a long time but have learned to ignore it (unless it gets really loud). I developed another issue in one ear that involved different symptoms. One of which was a loud ringing. Could technically be tinnitus I guess but this was different...- Tomm11
