Im sure someone has experience with this--I have an iFi micro USB 3.0 signal cleaner / purifier between my laptop streaming qobuz through to mscaler / TT2 and have wondered if its redundant being in the signal path, and that Rob more than likely took USB noise into consideration when designing...

had to reply with some thoughts! first, your source files are "fuzzy" and its like having a 4K resolution-capable TV and watching old black and white movies in 480P--you would never know what the TV is capable of. With your Mojo, you should stream Tidal (through your PC better than phone) MQA...

Follks-Ive never sold gear on this site, and not sure I did it right trying to post my Vegas for sale. Keeping my Atlas and SXC8 for sure (like the Symbio W with them actually-but have heard others who do not agree) and dont need the Vegas anymore. Question is, what would be a fair price now...

BTW, I "A/B"d for over a week with the Ref 8 and tried to find a reason to like the Ref 8 better (cuz everyone loves it, and its so light) but found myself going back again and again to the SXC 8 which for me was sweeter and more enjoyable to listen to-even tho its like having a garden hose...

I stream Tidal (mostly the MQA) through a Hugo 2, WyWires Plat cable and Ether Flows, and find myself lately using my Vegas almost as much as the headphones....I never would have opted for IEMs over headphones before, thats how enjoyable i find the Vega / SXC 8 combo.....obv Atlas better be...

thank you for your thoughtful response; enough improvement there to consider the upgrade! I will say the SXC8 (very heavy and too thick for most people) created some of what you describe from the Atlas in my Vegas (transparency, smoothness in the mids and bigger staging) for me when I A/B'd it...
