    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

Try Klipsh x10. Note 3 easily overpowers them so you won't have any lack of volume level. Besides, they fit easily and sound very nice. Bass is unbelievable for such tiny earbuds.

Of course we do! :) The problem is that this is just the price of AK100 and half the price of AK120. Other than that, I'm 100% with you. :)

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

I am sorry to hear that. Can't suggest anything other than hard reset. But you should be better off with this feature on, while travelling. As for home use, you shouldn't expect the ultimate sound from the phone, no phone beats a decent DAP. Although I very much like the sound of Note 3 and S4...

Surely you mean sitting in a quiet room. But on the go this is a totally different matter, I would say.

Does Adapt Sound affect third party players?

Save all your data and hard reset the phone. What can be easier? :). Why can't it be switched off, I wonder. Might be a glitch of early firmware. I liked the feauture very much, however.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

Today I had a chance to compare the sound of Samsung S4 (Exinos with Wolfson), Note 3 (Exinos with Yamaha) and LG G2 using my Sennheiser IE8. They say that LG G2 has the new Wolfson WM5110 but subjectively I cannot say that it is better than the Samsung phones. Note 3 was the loudest, but I...

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

What I don't understand at all, guys, is why would anyone need an external DAC or Amp with Note 3? Why even bother? You could buy a decent player starting from Cowon d20 and going all the way up to AK120, depending on your taste and pocket. Wouldn't it make more sense?

arn, Is it Qualkom N-9005 you are talking about?

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

Well, it is great that iphone and Note 3 are even comparable in terms of SQ if you ask me. I think Samsung does not mean Note 3 to compete with iphone - they are worlds apart. It should be S4's job. But, personally, I would prefer Note 3 to have the best SQ there can be on a phone. It would make...

Sales are growing, so suddenly all this begin to matter. Money.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

Yes, it is confirmed by owners, that in Exinos 9000 Note 3 sold in Russia the DAC is Yamaha YMU831. Is it much worse in terms of SQ than Wolfson WM5102?

But don't get me wrong. It is true for me either. I would also prefer a Wolfson DAC - it adds positively to my perception of SQ :).

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

This is easily explained. A human is not a measuring instrument. He is liable to psychological influence. A good hypnotist can make him feel hot, cold, see or hear things and so on. A human is also very subjective in his judgement, so a brand name adds to his perception greatly. This is pure...

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)

I have always been under the impression that only Exinos versions of Galaxy line-up could feature Wolfson DACs as Qualcom has its own. Now, that this subject is brought up, I just can't say where I got this idea from, although I've been sure 100% about it. I also thought that both DACs are very...
