B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread
Hi guys I tried these H9 at the Singapore b&o retail store and couldn't help but notice that the volume was extremely low when paired to my iPhone 7+ jet black. I had to turn the volume on max before I found the the volume acceptable for listening. I only have lossless FLAC files on my phone, so...- timmyzai

Mytek Manhattan : PCM/DSD DAC-Pre With Headphone AMP
Hey guys I just recently purchased the Manhattan. Haven't a a lot of head time with it due to work but i'm hoping to change that within the next few weeks. It is being burned in at home while I type this. I am now looking for an amp (I currently have the Schiit Ragnarok on my mind) to go with...- timmyzai

JH Audio Layla Impressions Thread
Thank you for your review. May I ask are you located in Hong Kong as I see the "ECT" in the unboxing pictures. I'm really interested in the Layla as well but would like to audition them first since they are so expensive. If indeed you are in hk, mind to share which store?- timmyzai

AKG K812 Pro
I would agree with this. For critical listening, I use the HD800. I find it picks up the details better, while the K812 is warmer and "easier" to listen too. My music collection does not consists of ALL Loseless files. I do have a few mp3's (192 and 320) and for these files, it almost becomes...- timmyzai

Least leaking vaguely "Summit-Fi" closed headphone options
Yes I agree with PleasantSounds. The T5p were the first "summit fi" headphones I bought, and they have been wonderful when I use them at the office or the few times (once a month) I take them on the plane. Love the fact I don't need an amp to power them. If you have a AK DAP, perhaps you can...- timmyzai

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Hi Guys, newbie to the headphone world here so apologies if it is a dumb question. I recently bought a LCD3F and I'm using the Burson Conductor as the amp/dac. Loving it so far and I prefer the LCD3F with the conductor rather than my other amp/dac (HDVD800 with the balanced connection). My...- timmyzai

V-Moda Crossfade M-100
I'm not too sure on the K267 as I'm looking to audition them myself. From the other members, it seems that build quality will not be as sturdy as the M-100. Reason I'm looking at the K267 is because I recently bought my first set of AKG headphones for home use and I love the house sound. So I'm...- timmyzai

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
Thanks again guys. Yes i will need to check out the Hugo with the ie800 in person, given the difference of opinions. Its too expensive to just "buy first" and decide later if I want to keep it or not. The Cayin C5 seems like an interesting option. I hope I can find a store that carries it in...- timmyzai

V-Moda Crossfade M-100
I have a pair. You are right, the bass is quite good and deep. The build quality is also very sturdy as I take it when I'm on business trips weekly and they have never failed on me. They come with good accessories including 2 different cables, one for use with cell phones. However what I dislike...- timmyzai

Sennheiser IE800 IEM's
Hey guys, I'm using my ie800 with a AK120II as my portable setup. Been contemplating the idea of getting a portable amp to go along with it. Do you guys think a headphone amp would be beneficial or would I be wasiting my money. If I do get the amp, i'm thinking of a Chord Hugo.- timmyzai

AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
The MRSP for the headphones when they first came out was 13,980HKD. However AKG switch distributor in Hong Kong or something along those lines and the entire AKG line got massive sales including the 712,702, K3003 etc . I ended up paying 8888hkd for my K812. I'm very pleased with the headphone...- timmyzai

AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
Hey guys. Sorry for the dumb question, but I am a newbie when it comes to the headphone game. Anyways, I recently bought my first AKG product (K812) without testing. There is a massive sale for all AKG products here in Hong Kong, and the store that I bought it from only had a sealed unit that I...- timmyzai
