New Releases 2013 - No Records Released Before 2013
This is a couple days late, but Pretty Lights has released the remix of his newest album, A Color Map of the Sun. I don't normally like remixes, but some of the new ones just kill it! The original album is already amazing, so to hear a couple remixes surpass their original source material was... -
Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
I love Nisekoi! The faces characters make are just so priceless! I also know how your mom feels! Music that didn't excite me that much when I was listening on low-fi suddenly seemed to gain new life when I upgraded my audio for the first time. I'm proud to say that my audiophilia helps me...- TheJazzyH

Headphone Sightings 2
What are those headphones I keep seeing throughout this video? They seem like the Sennheiser HD650 to me, but they're kind of hard to see...- TheJazzyH

Official Free FLAC File Music Sharing Thread
For anyone here that's ever played a Legend of Zelda game, here's an amazing tribute album to Majora's Mask: http://www.terriblefate.com/. You can also pay for it on the guy's Bandcamp page if you'd like to support him. My favorite track: -
The Video Game Music Thread
The Legend of Zelda games always had breathtaking soundtracks, but this fanmade remix album of music from Majora's Mask is just an amazing tribute. Theophany takes some already great music and brings it to an unbelievable new level in atmosphere and energy. Download it for free here (FLAC...- TheJazzyH

Headphone Sightings 2
Sorry, I haven't been on Head-Fi in days! Real life has been keeping me on my toes. To answer your question, no. My brother and I are Asian, although we're not Singaporean (I've never been to the country myself). Good luck finding him now!- TheJazzyH

Headphone Sightings 2
I'm also surprised to hear about Shure's popularity in Singapore. My non-audiophile brother is studying abroad over there, and when his last pair of headphones broke, he went to Jaben (on my referral) to find a replacement, and walked out with the SE215 LTD. Perhaps one of you here has seen him...- TheJazzyH

Your Album of the Month
I finally managed to finish my Kaskade marathon with his newest album, Atmosphere, which has a become a strong contender for my favorite Kaskade album. Vast, serene, and ethereal, the songs found in here perfectly embody the album title. Lead single "Atmosphere" also showcases Kaskade's vocal... -
worst date stories
Oh, man. As one of the younger members here, I have no dating stories to speak of, let alone any bad ones that would be worth telling here. But hearing one like this makes me hesitant to even try. I'm afraid of getting hurt in a serious relationship, but I had no idea people like this girl...- TheJazzyH

Need help educating my brother on audio
As I already mentioned, my brother already uses iTunes, and he uses it for everything: music management, playback, CD ripping, downloading, and more. I've moved on to MediaMonkey myself, but I still hold on to iTunes for buying music I can't find anywhere else (underground music, foreign music...- TheJazzyH

Need help educating my brother on audio
You raise a good point. 256 kbps AAC files usually sound just fine to me personally. But while but I'm not expecting him to re-rip his whole CD collection to FLAC, I do hope he would at least do something about his hyper-compressed YouTube rips (especially since some of his favorite songs...- TheJazzyH

Need help educating my brother on audio
Sorry for the late reply, but thanks! I use that method to wrap my own IEMs, but it never crossed my mind to tell my brother about it. I'll be sure to relay your tips to him.- TheJazzyH

Your Album of the Month
It's a day late, but I'll give my September album of the month. September has been a great month for music for me, from picking up Earth, Wind, & Fire's newest album on release day to going on a Kaskade marathon (will pick up his new album later), but my pick for September is: Aqua... -

Sorry, I meant to say, "how to take care of IEMs". Somehow I forgot the word care, but that has been edited now.- TheJazzyH
