My Fiio M9 arrived yesterday, and I'm absolutely in awe of how pure sounding and well built it is. It is my first true DAP (previously I used an iPod Nano 5th Gen and an iPod Video 5G). But I have one concern. Fiio's website states that every M9 comes with its own tempered glass screen...

Good news. I got lucky and caught the only silver M9 that suddenly went in stock on Amazon. It should arrive next week.

Fiio sells a red leather case for the M9 which has a lanyard loop at the bottom of the device. Is this what you are looking for?

If the M9 won't be in stock until March, I'm going to opt out of buying one and just go ahead and buy another player. Do any of you guys know of any other DAPs comparable to the M9?

It seems as though the black M9 is out of stock now as well. What is the reason for the long wait?

I am not sure where you're finding this, but nothing has changed on the U.S. Amazon site. The only color option available is black.

Currently, it's not available on Amazon, Aliexpress, or other reputable websites. Amazon doesn't even have it as an item/option; there's only the black M9. About a week ago it was an option on Amazon, but now it doesn't even exist. That's why I am asking.

Does anyone know when the silver version of the M9 will be available? I was about to buy the M9 the other day, but realized that the only color available is black.
