Westone STAR(TM) silicon tips and TRUE-FIT(TM) foam tips available
I just received a new 10 pack of Westone True-fit Red tips from an authorized dealer for Westone. I used to love these tips, but this pack was no good. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this; it is the new version they tell me. I have included a picture of the new tips compared...- TheEhkolite

Etymotic ER4 series - anyone still favor them?
Sorry to dig this post back up from the dredges. I have been using a set of ER4-PT for about a year. At first I liked the very cold flat sound of them, but over time I found them painful to wear at longer periods of time (4-8 hours) this was mostly due to the way they sat in my ears using the...- TheEhkolite

Demo music to test or show off your headphones
I would like to suggest listening to the Chevelle Album: Vena Sera. I think personally that is one of the best mastered CDs I have heard in a while. It is full and lush and brings a bunch of different dynamics to the listening spectrum. I listen to a lot of different types of music...- TheEhkolite

Just put my Triple.fi in the washer...
Ok, here is the break down. They are broken. The left ear has a light hiss in it, and the right one has no bass anymore. Even with correct seal. I called my insurance company and they told me they did not cover Washing machine, but suggested I call my credit card company. So I called...- TheEhkolite

Just put my Triple.fi in the washer...
Awesome. Noted! Now, to wait and see if I need to get those IEMs now, or later... I am really pulling for my Triples to work, but the CK10s, from the various posts I have been reading through, seem to specify they are superior in a lot of ways. So they might join my collection regardless.- TheEhkolite

Just put my Triple.fi in the washer...
Wow, that is quite the endorsement. I am searching around for a good price on them now. I just checked Newegg, and they are as you said: 199. Should I be concerned if I find a really good price on ebay, or some unknown wonderland of cheapery that they are counterfeits? I have heard about the...- TheEhkolite

Just put my Triple.fi in the washer...
Thanks guys, you have been a big help. They are currently mellowing inside a cocoon of rice on a nice warming heater (it doesnt get super hot, just slightly warm) in a sealed container. I have not, and will not, try to test them out for at least 3 days. At which point I will either breathe a...- TheEhkolite

Just put my Triple.fi in the washer...
So guys, I just put my Triple.fi's in the washer this evening accidentally. I am letting them dry out now, hoping they will work later. Has anyone done something similar, and what kind of success should I expect with the overall durability of Ultimate Ears products for this treatment. Moving...- TheEhkolite

Need help picking studio monitors
What I use for the KRK Rokit 6's is a POD Studio UX2. They feed out through two male XLR to 1/4" patch cords, and I control them with the volume knob on the UX2. They sound great currently using this method. I am not sure what the "S/PDIF Digital out" port is used for, but it seems to be a... -
any experience with KRK Ergo?
Yeah, I would be interested in this as well, as I just got my first pair of KRK Rokit6's for tracking and mixing music. I live in a rectangle studio and don't have a lot of padding on the walls, just a few heavy curtains hanging about 1 inch from the wall surrounding the speakers and the...- TheEhkolite
