With this vintage audio stuff it is always a bit of a gamble what you get. I have seen ads where the seller states that the headphones are in perfect condition, while you can see on the photo’s that there are some plastic knobs missing or broken. I think a lot of times the seller has not a clue...

@ Saberpunch: the AKG K500 has very little bass, same as the K501, K400 and K401. If you want a vintage AKG with a decent amount of bass get a K240 sextett EP. If you should be interested in an old model Sennheiser HD 580, i have one up for sale in the classifieds 😉

@ Saberpunch: my opinion : try the Linear 2 if you have the chance, it sounds better than the Linear 1 and has more bass.
