IE Headphones for Workout
I have to say my custom remolded TF10 are the best headphones I have ever used for working out. I lost a bit of the soundstage with the remolds but for working out the V shaped sound is ideal. With custom you never have to worry about the fit which means you can focus on your workout. Likewise...- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
HOLY! Well the e11 certainly has enough pure volume with the e11-> HD600. Should I be using high or low gain? Is low gain always better if you don't need extra volume?- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
Thanks again. You have been really helpful. I decided to go for the Music Streamer with the E11 for now because I would rather overkill a little bit than wonder if I am missing out. Hopefully this will stave off upgraditis for a bit. :-D- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
Thank you for the reasoned reply! You are exactly right-- I am not looking to max out my sound. I am just hoping to get the level that I am really just thinking about the music and not worrying if the highs have been clips. I love my rockboxed- Sansa clip. What would it take to get a USB...- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
Quote: I am confused. Are you saying that is what I should be looking at? Until I really understand what I am getting for the money, I am going to have to limit my budget to <400USD for DAC+AMP (less is better of course :-) )- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
Thanks I know this is dangerous but I am deciding on my budget. I want to make an informed decision. What kind of stats should I be looking for to drive my HD600s? What are the factors to consider? I understand that there is a different between solid state and tube amps but that is pretty much...- theberkin8or

Beginners guide to Dacs and Amps? (where to find)
I apologize for asking a question I am sure has been asked before but I am looking to get the most out of my new HD600 and I am sure my E11 is not enough. I am trying to research dacs and amps to determine what to make an informed decision but I haven't been able to find a beginners' guide. I...- theberkin8or

Custom IEM Artwork (show yours or use provided template to make your own)
Does anyone know the process by which the companies do the designs? Would something like this be feasible for a TF10 remold? http://theberkin8or.smugmug.com/Other/randum-background-pictures/3271396_R3T9R7#!i=1753410962&k=qkPd9Mx&lb=1&s=A- theberkin8or

KSC75's VS Xtreme Xplosives?
I have found that if you workout hard most IEM will eventually lose seal or slip out of your ears due heat and sweat (if anyone has ideas on how to get around this I am all ears). The Koss ear clips can be bent so that you don't need to fool with them during a work out.- theberkin8or

Narrowed my next headphone to Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10, Fischer Audio DBA-2 and VSonic Gr07
Quote: I own both and wouldn't say the GR07> TF10 but they are very different. I like to switch between them when I want a change. I feel like the TF10 are more emotional and fun but the GR07 are also truly wonderful. If I had to choose I would probably pick the GR07 because of the way...- theberkin8or

vmoda m80 or audio technica esw9
I haven't heard the M80s but the ESW9 would be a terrible choice for running due to the leather ear cups. But really if you are doing any kind of extended running (i.e., anything more than running to catch a bus) full size is not really the way to go.- theberkin8or
