    I have the Blue Dragon cable -- I think it does a great job of increasing bass impact and smoothing out some of the K702s natural brightness. I don't feel like any detail is lost, but they are less fatiguing now than with the stock cable.

    Will a new DAC solve my issues?

    Having a 32 foot cable is probably a big part of any sound problem. Why would your DAC need to be that far from your CD player? Maybe the best solution is to convert the music collection to lossless and get an airport express or a squeezebox/transporter into a new DAC?
