The DX180's back is metal, correct?

Do the DX170 and DX180 have user-replaceable batteries? The ibasso website mentions removable back covers, but didn't seem to actually say the batteries can be replaced.

I agree. IMO Rockbox adds playback features, not better sound quality. Just stifle your fear of missing out and avoid your fear of making a mistake and concentrate on enjoying your music on your player.

Hey guys, have you heard about the new corduroy earpads? They're really making headlines!

Over the years, I've always wound up preferring Sennheiser headphones. Fingers crossed that their sound and identity remain intact for consumer products.

Finally got everything updated. Future readers with similar problems, feel free to PM me --- I'm keeping all these files so I can keep using my DX50 as long as the hardware lasts. Thanks to @yannis for trying to help! It cheered me up.

OK...By doing a lot of thread reading I think I figured out what I was doing wrong in trying to reinstall Rockbox. (Mango, which I never used before, works fine.) But it seems to install updates I need the "stock recovery" file to get past cwm recovery, and none of the links to that file are...

Followup: I put an album on the internal memory, which I never really use, and the same thing happens. Also, while I had the DX50 plugged into my PC as a hard drive, I played files from both the external microSD card and the internal memory with no problems.
