Fantastic review, thank you for taking the time to put together your thoughts on these cans. I received mine a month ago and just this past week received the LCX+SDAC from Massdrop (a solid state variation of the dac/amp that ohcrapgorillas is recommending above), and I have been pretty blown...

My understanding is it's just about removing a couple of screws on the inside of the headband, very simple and you can easily replace it if you ever wanted to.

The ability to switch between outputs is a huge plus for me, not to mention being able to switch between fixed and variable output. Why don’t more headphone amps do this!? I assume it’s expense related. May I ask what headphones you have paired woth this amp?
